The ingredients:
- 1 cup of pasta
- Sliced shiitake mushrooms
- Minced garlic
- Basil leaves
- Crushed cashew nuts
To flavour:
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of pesto sauce
Fat:
- Butter
- Bring water to a boil and add in salt
- Pour in pasta to boil following packaging instructions for duration
- Transfer into ice bath once cooked to al dante
- Melt butter in pan and stir-fry sliced shiitake mushrooms and minced garlic until cooked through
- Remove mushrooms to garnish later
- Add pesto sauce to pan
- Crush basil leaves and add to pan
- Heat sauce
- Mix in cooked pasta
- Garnish with mushrooms, crushed cashew nuts and basil
- Serve
