Cape Primrose, part of a series of 3 floral oil paintings, depicts a row of cape primroses in the Gardens by the Bay of Singapore. The web-like pattern running across the petals was both mesmerising and fascinating to me. One of the most enjoyable things about painting these cape primroses was mixing this shade of indigo blue on my palette.
