Drive Home depicts the colours of lamp lights and car lights reflected on the wet road in the middle of a rainy night. This is the road I walk along to get home every day and on this particular night, the quiet of the street and the coolness of the air evoked a deep sense of peace within me, which compelled me to take a reference photo and make a painting of it.
