Joy of Being Original Painting

Painted in the height of COVID-19, Joy of Being was created as a reminder that it is enough to just be, like these daisies that just are, and it's all sunny and beautiful still. At a time where it was difficult to push gears forward, the feeling of being stuck in stagnation was too easy to sink into. Creating this oil painting was what kept me grounded and the finished piece hung in my room so it was the first thing I saw when I woke up every day. Looking at it made many of my days lighter and I'm finally ready to let go of this piece so it can do the same for another being.
