Yellow Lanterns, part of a series of 3 floral oil paintings, depicts scattered flowering maples in Singapore's Gardens by the Bay. These uniquely shaped flowers brought me the most joy while exploring the Flower Dome with my camera. As yellow shades are some of my favourite colours, these flowering maples were a delight to paint.
